Dessert is hard to fuck up

Chocolate mascarpone, hazelnuts, creme anglaise

The filling is great. Smooth. The hazelnuts are whole and don’t add much value for me. I had what I think was lemon cream anglaise, but there was so little of it, I couldn’t tell.

The pastry shell is quite thick, almost rivaling the filling. Not my fave. I wouldn’t go to Rinata for the cannoli, but I’d eat it again if I were eating at Rinata anyway.
